When One Door Closes, Another Opens

Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes. — C.G. Jung
On December 31, 2017, after working on an illustrated novel that started out as a 15-page dark fairy tale in 2009, I walked away from the 8-year project for reasons that I will try to explain in a later post.
As I reflect on the process and evolution of my illustrated novel, I have realized that the project itself became an evolving reflection of my relationship to my spirit guide, Hans, and his slow revelation of his true identity in his most recent past life.
When I closed the metaphorical door that was my illustrated novel, other doors opened. One of my life-long dreams has been to pursue a PhD in Psychology, which I am now doing. I have also always wanted to live in Stowe (if I could not return "home" to Germany where Hans and I had resided in one of our previous past lives). As it turned out, I was able to purchase a condo right in Stowe with spectacular views of the mountains. Another one of my life-long dreams has been to create an oracle deck, which I am currently undertaking as well. It's all slowly evolving, but I feel joyful and grateful to have finally let go of the novel.
