As I prepare to enter the autumnal equinox, I’m compelled to visually explore my dreams. I’ve started to sketch some of the scenes. I’m eager to set out on this project. Part of my driving force stems from the time of year. I associate Autumn with the harvest, the last push before I fall into the arms of serenity, hibernation, transformation, and darkness and freely plunge into the long winter months in Vermont. But today I rejoice in the fast-approaching autumnal equinox, and all the living, breathing dreams that I’ve had in September.
