Held in a State of Suspension

Sitting on Boy's Face | © 2003 Jacqueline Stuart | Graphite, color pencils on paper then digitally manipulated

White: The idea that things are held in a state of suspension. Key elements are illustrated. The rest is omitted, or rather, never fully displayed to viewer, whereby one must resort to these rendered objects as the prime anchors in the composition. One must use imagination to ultimately see the backdrop, otherwise things aimlessly float.
